Big-Chase, with Cosmic going totally aero
It feels like the sweet summer is back. With this weekend forecast to be 19 degrees-plus, it’s time to grab the SSJ’s, bare those legs, and get that tan back. Cycling fast is also on the cards.
Cosmic Hero
We look back at some stunning summer moments for individuals in the club. In particular, Ash aka Cosmic, gritting his teeth for some excellent manoeuvres, coupled with a smashing set of climbs on the way to Windsor.
Rocky 12
Another notable Baroudeur is Rupert. In fact his efforts on the day, got him voted ‘Baroudeur of the day!’ Having done a few BBR’s with the club, he accomplished his first challenging ride with the team. We weren’t going to let him down, and he paid us back by not just keeping with the team, but leading us out on the way home. Chapeau, Rupert, aka Rocky 12!

Basking in the sunshine, we pause to take it all in. The taste of Windsor’s cinnamon buns is nothing but a faded memory now. All that’s left is the sweat from our brow, and the sweet taste of accomplishment. Just like the ambassador and his famous party-chocs, Cosmic and Rocky have a lot to be proud of.
Give the man some space
Big-Chase suggests to Cosmic to count to 5 and everything will be alright. Sure enough, the man is up and ready for the 20+ miles back home.
Regrouping for the home stretch, and secure in the knowledge that today’s efforts have been safely ‘banked’ for the challenges ahead. Chapeau, Cosmic and Rocky!
